Vivid Details

Also known as Aluminum prints, metal prints are made from sleek aluminum sheets where the image is transferred through dye sublimation. This involves printing the image onto transfer paper before heating or baking it together with polymer-coated metal. As a result, the metal print finish is basically the ink that merges with the medium, making the output sturdy and incredibly vibrant. 

Color Accuracy

Our giclee, eco-solvent inkjet printers are color calibrated regularly to ensure the most color-accurate prints. These bright, vivid, and amazing colors will resist fading for over 100 years and help your prints last for generations.

Surface Options

For the surface, we select either a glossy white or glossy silver surface.

Glossy White

The glossy surface brings is the popular option as it brings out the vibrancy of the print. The white base allows accurate color. The whites of the image appear white and the colors appear natural and how you expect them to be. It offers a vibrant look with rich color and high contrast.

Glossy Silver

The glossy surface provides a vibrant, modern display. The silver base allows the aluminum to show through. Since the white point is the metal itself, the image will look darker and overall color accuracy will be reduced. It's highly recommended for high-contrast black and white images.

Hanging Options

We use either an Inset Frame or a Metal Frame for hanging convenience.

Insert Frame

Adds dimension to your print positioning it a dramatic 3/4 inch from the wall: sizes 20x20, 30x30, 24x36

Metal Easel

Can be used to either stand your metal print on a surface, or to mount it on a wall. It is available for the following sizes: 11x14, 12x12

Care Instructions

  • For quick cleaning, dust your metal print with a microfiber or soft dry cloth.
  • For a deep clean, you can apply  warm water or a mild cleanser.
  • Do not display in area with direct sunlight to keep the print from fading over time.
